" In the cities of Judea and the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of joy and the voice of happiness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride” Birds of Paradise is a paper cut ketubah of joy and delight: an artistic expression of the Song of Songs. Olive branches, pomegranates and cheerful song birds are the dominant motifs that bespeak of a life of growth and blossoming. A gold menorah protected by a canopy of myrtle leaves is central to the composition. The composition conveys movement and yet, a sense of a balance and calm. The charming palette of pastel pinks, blues and greens is enhanced by hand applied 24 karat gold leaf. Birds of Paradise is a celebration of the union of the bride and groom and visually anticipates their full and happy life together.
