"Cobblestone" Mezuzah w/ Window by Joy Stember

A deeply appealing cobblestone pattern, lovingly hand-layered in pewter. This mezuzah case speaks of journeys. Trust yourself, it says. You have made it this far. Go out in peace, and return again in joy. The love and shelter of home travels with you.

A warm copper accent provides a finishing touch to this well-balanced, asymmetrical pewter design. A waterproof window reveals the beautiful Hebrew lettering of your scroll.

Dimensions: 5 x 1.5 x 1 inches
Materials: All Joy Stember pieces are handmade in pewter, sprayed with protective lacquer to prevent tarnishing. (Can be hand-washed with a soft sponge, mild soap, and water.) The window is plastic.

Joy Stember is an award-winning Judaica artist and metalsmith from the Philadelphia area. Her handmade pieces are lovingly fabricated by scoring and folding sheets of pewter to make three-dimensional works of art. The gorgeous textures are pulled from many influences and are embossed into the metal.

An enduring symbol of safety and protection for all who dwell within a home, a mezuzah consists of a prayer scroll in a decorative case, which is affixed to the front door jamb (and sometimes to interior doorposts as well). They make an especially good gift for a wedding or housewarming.
